wicked. Tom's and mine little field trip to sydney is now all organised and paid for :D I can't wait. we fly out of Melbourne on the 23rd of March at 8 in the morning. So we'll be up bright and early because we have to go out to Avalon. and because we're flying with jetstar we want to be there almost absurdly early to ensure that we don't miss the specified check in times. once in sydney, we're staying at Vibe hotel, which is right near luna park, which is where the concert is being held. some people from the HIM message boards are also staying there, so at least we're not the only ones invading that particular hotel. I can see it now, it'll be like a punk/emo/goth/everything else invasion :P all these "depressed" kids in black traipsing the foyer. shall be awesome. i have my eyeliner ready and waiting /sarcasm. will be awesome. i can't wait. am now just researching the cost of bus/train transfers to avalon, to see if that would be cheaper then driving/long term parking car there. i already have my little wheelie suitcase. now all i need to do is pack. from tomorrow, there are only ten days. TEN days until we go. until HIM is here. All up it'll cost about $500, but I don't care. It shall be worth it. Every last cent. Plus the hotel room has a mini bar for me to suss out :P not to mention I get to go on a plane. plane trip good. i love flying. and let's face it, if there was any one band to spend money on, it would be HIM. how often do they come/have been to australia? exactly. will take advantage of fact that I can now afford to go, and I shall. I am. and it doesn't even interfere with uni, which is always a bonus. but for now, best be off to bed as have cold, and also feel quite tired.

I love pink. I have decided it is my new favourite colour. There are so many shades of it, that there's always one to suit your mood. Awesome colour. It really works for me.

In other news, have decided that telemarketing is a crap job. Owing to its repetition. But money is good. I now get about 150 a week, which is a lot lot more then I got previously. So if anyone is interested in working there feel free to ask me for the number because I do recommend it. The people are nice and the environment isn't so bad /promotion

So thrilled that uni  has started again.... hehe. Owing to my poor performance in C++ I'm now doing VB instead, and I was quite happy to see that a different teacher took the subject... because even though I'm quite sure the other teacher knows I failed C++, I'd rather not have him as a teacher again for that reason... nice teacher though he is, I just would rather not. I still don't really feel like going to uni though, however. but am doing multimedia tools and concepts, so it should be slightly more interesting. still need to get textbooks, however... and there's not a lot on textbookexchange.com.au, so I might be having to do the full-price option... why don't people like selling their textbooks? :(

But now, I best be off... I suppose I should do a little looking over subject notes before I have to go. I already can't wait for the semester to be over :) :P

My car is dead currently. The starter motor doesn't work. Which led to Tom and I being stranded at Dandenong station for about four hours, while a) my dad tried to fix it, then b) waiting for the RACV and then the tow truck. That was a bit of an experience, seeing my car on a tow truck. And then as a result of that, we missed most of Debbie's parents house-warming party. We only got there around ten. Being the dedicated individuals we are, we went by train, and then Carolyn came to get us from mooroolbark station. so yeah. that was pretty much my weekend for you. waiting around at train stations. I don't know which one I feel safer at... dandenong or ringwood. they're both quite scummy. the party itself was good. nicest cake ever. chocolate ripple biscuit cake. and tom didn't even have any because he didn't see it. so I'm going to make him, or try to make him, one for christmas. to make things even better though, now my sister's car won't start either. so we're both car-less. the only difference is, hers always does this. mine has never done this. i've had her for about three years now, and she's always been good and reliable. anyway, I'm going to see harry potter tomorrow and i have to be up around 8, so i should be going to bed.... but hey, that would be the sensible thing to do... :D

I am so so bored. Already. I don't want uni to be back on though. There's just nothing to do. And I don't have money, so there's not a lot I can do. That said, I am about to go swimming, which doesn't cost a lot. I figure doing swimming will a) cure my boredom b) keep me healthy. I am bored though. Guess who has a new computer? yes. you guessed it. my dad bought a new one on friday. the only problem is that MS Office programs haven't been installed on it as of yet, so I'm forced to use wordpad for my exam notes. but that is really a small price to play for a computer that is fast and has space and has a dvd rom and pretty red and blue lights <3 so yeah, tom is in canberra now with his mum and jed visiting his brother. i wonder what he's been saying about me to his brother though, i really am curious. can't wait for halloween thingy tonight. there's this plan where i'm dressing as Helena from the MCR video, but I don't think this outfit I put together really resembles the Helena dress. but regardless, it's been fun working on it :) so to celebrate new computer, a few survey thingies :)

I can almost taste freedom. One last assignment due tomorrow, then exams in a couple of weeks... then a long stretch of nothing-ness until march next year. if I don't decide to defer uni for a semester next year. I haven't decided entirely. but i'm realising more and more each day that uni is not what i want to do right now. it's not that I don't want to do it, there's just other things I'd rather be doing instead. that's why i'm not doing summer subjects this year. so i can use these few months to think about what i really want from my life.

so in other news, tom and i have now been together for five months, since the 14th of october. it's been good. really good. james blunt puts it best... "we've had our doubts, but now we're fine." because yeah, there was the age thing to think about, parentals, me being in hungary/london for six very long weeks only a month after we'd got together. and therefore a phase of 'does he/she really like me or not.' but i think we're past that now. that we'll be fine from here. i know we will.

so yeah. i applied for a job at kfc today. the one place i was never going to apply for because my sister works there, but i really need money now so i did. and because we're gluttons for punishment, tom and i have signed up to do fruit picking for a few weeks. it'll be good, i hope. and it'll be the first real thing that he and i alone have done together. i saw him on saturday. and i was really good this time. this time i only began crying about five minutes before i reached the mobil station at traf. i think it's because tears are so superficial to how much i actually miss him. i only cried for about five minutes. the rest was just this dull ache within me. but yeah, enough on this topic. uni assignment is still beckoning, so i best be getting that done.
